August 7th – ️grand opening??

Hey. so I literally just started making this site but over the past week my friend Asriel has been teaching me html. I thought it was weird nerdspeak but it's pretty cool and I can do stuff like this now. How cool is it? I don't have to use that stupid blog website everyone else uses nowadays. I'm probably the second person in this lazy town who knows how to work with a computer now.

On that note, hey, if you're coming in from my old blog... I at least hope this place is better than that piece of junk.

August 7th – ...

Small update... I added this cool tiling background. My friend taught me how to do it. What's coolest about it to him (I know you're reading this azzy.) is that it's just a small image that loops around, so it takes up a little amount of space. Why the hell does it need space in the first place? It's a computer. One day, I wanna see if I can make this background animated... would be sick.

August 8th – Dragon Blazers

Been messing around a lot with my computer now... do you know that dumb game a lot of people play. DRAGON BLAZER's? the fantasy one with the heroes and stuff. Well. I never thought the day would come, but I decided to emulate it on my computer... who knew that was possible? LOL asriel didn't even have to hook me up.

I don't really care about the game that much to be honest. But do you know what's fun? Hacking it. I replaced one of the songs with a midi of a Blood Crushers song and it was the best shit ever. I'm gonna mess with even more stuff soon. Maybe even editing the pixel arts or the levels. Could totally prank my little sister with that.

August 10th – Dragon Blazers 2

I'M LOSING IT. A few days ago, I told my sister about the ROM I have on my computer and that she could play it. But what she doesn't know? It's HACKED. She hasn't come across some of the scary bits (DON'T TATTLE ASRIEL.) but along the way I changed some dialogue and added NPCs that weren't there before. For a kid she's keen... Didn't fuss about it but she did look confused. I'll update you guys tomorrow.

August 12th – More HTML

Not much to report. But I did add these cool borders to my blog posts. See them, they're red... Dabbling with video game hacking has given me a bit of a second wind when it comes to computer shit. I've been able to record some of my songs, now, which you can hear over at my music page. See you there... if you're man enough to listen~!

August 12th – Stuffs

Good news. I got it working on the console. I was able to hack the disc by putting it into my DVD player and burning over the data. Never been a techie but wow this is fun.

Unrelated to all of the Dragon Blazers stuff, I tried playing the piano yesterday... I can't really do it. I would consider myself musically inclined but man I'm shit at playing piano. Nobody in our house even plays it at this point. Mom bought it because it was more elegant than a guitar but she stopped caring literally a few days later... but I think she keeps it around for Noelles little friend. Nice kid, likes to pull pranks like I do. I oughta give them a good scare one day. I'd be a shitty role model for them but who cares LOL. Asriel, if you've seen this (i KNOW you read this you're not subtle prettyboy) let's plan something.

August 13th – Dragon Blazers 3

Ok so it probably means nothing but my sister was playing it on the console earlier and I noticed some of the changes I made were changed. Do you know whats weird??? They weren't reverted, but CHANGED... So, like, an door was moved to a spot it wasn't in either in the original or my hack. Maybe I'm misremembering but damn that's kind of cool as shit. Gives me an idea for some more hacks I can do when I feel like it.

August 13th – Guitar Strings

So my guitar strings broke today and I asked mom to get my new ones. She gave me the money, which, is whatever, but I decided to go out and try to find somewhere to buy them. Thing is... my mom got my guitar imported from some other town, because I don't think most monsters can even play this. So I have no idea where to get my shit... worst case scenario, I guess I'll make them myself. However you do that. Maybe Asriel knows.

Do any of you guys have any guitar strings?

August 15th – Dragon Blazers 4

OKAY this is the big one... My sister got to the damn ice maze area or whatever, and that's where I put the first big scare. So, like, normally, you can't go in without the Leras guy or whatever because it softlocks you. But i managed to add a secret room here.. it counts using a variable how many times you've enter and left the room and when that hits a certain amount a door appears. That door teleports you... to the best part. But it's kind of weird. Last night, I left the room to leave her to her own devices (and also to scare her more lol) and then I heard her make a little cry from my room. \

Poor kid LOL... The next morning, she told me about it, but, like, she tried to go in and it was locked? Which was weird as shit. Still scared her which is a victory but damn I wanted her to see that jumpscare room. Whatever, the 'lock' flag probably got enabled by accident when I burned it into the disc. I tested it like a million times, almost laughing my ass off, and it never broke like that. She mumbled something about an "ice key", does that even exist?

August 16th – Dragon Blazers 5

Damn I'm a little creeped out but it's also cool. Not the kind I want to look into but I didn't know computers could do this. So, I was checking over my Dragon Blazers file on my computer... and it changed. Like, that room I added into the ice maze? There's no longer a scare event there. There's some npc... I'll upload a picture of their dialogue if any of you recognize it. Sounds nothing like DRAGON BLAZERs but I figure it's just some unused text strings. Weird shit.

And, yes, the "hate crossed on your heart" bit is real. Freak type stuff. Whatever the hell that means... but, to follow up to yesterday, it does seem like the game requires you need the "ICE KEY" item to get in here. It's weird though, the item isn't even registered as a key? Like, theres an ice key in the game but it's different. And when you open your inventory, it's in the KEY section. But the ice key that you need to open this door is a regular item just like the healing potions and dragon spices, there isn't any icon associated with it either. Weird as hell, probably another unused thing. Whatever, I'm getting a little tired of this hack stuff, even if it's cool.
